Hi! My name's Kris!

I use this website to experiment with new web technologies - so there isn't much actual content here for you to enjoy. So folks have something to look at, I've uploaded some of my favorite photos in my gallery. One of my favorite hobbies is wildlife photography, so most of my pictures are of animals (some in the wild, and some in zoos). The photos on the right are some of my photos too, although the top one is a photo taken of me a few years back during a trip to Alaska. We were flying in a small plane around Mt. Denali, and I was blown away by how beautiful it all was.

I also love to read, and am always on the hunt for my next book. If you're looking for something to read yourself, I have listed some of the books I've enjoyed on the books page. Maybe you'll find something to interest you there. Or, if you like poetry, you could read one of my favorite poems on the Poems page. Each time you visit the page, a poem will be randomly selected to be shared. I inherited my love of poetry from my Dad, and a lot of my favorites are ones he first shared with me. I hope you like them too.

The last thing I'll mention here is about that little logo on the top left of the screen. It's the letters K and C in the letter Q because those are my initials (KQC).
